Tsifrograd retailer signs dealer agreement to sell Arctel inter-city and international phone cards

Moscow, December 7. The Tsifrograd retailer said in a press release it had signed a dealer agreement to sell Arctel inter-city and international phone cards in the whole of its retail network

At present various-price Arctel cards are on sale in Tsifrograd mobile electronic equipment centers in Moscow and the Moscow region, and St. Petersburg. According to the dealer agreement, Tsifrograd will sell Arctel cards in other cities as well. Since December they are on sale in Yekaterinburg.

Tsifrograd Marketing Director Andrei Nabatchikov said demand for Arctel cards considerably increased in 2006. Tsifrograd is launching a pilot project in Yekaterinburg to sell Arctel cards, which is backed by a special action and an advertising campaign.

In 2007 Tsifrograd plans to start selling Arctel cards in other cities. At the first stage they will be offered to clients in the retail facilities owned by the company. The next stage envisages direct deliveries from the carrier to trade centers operating under the franchise of the federal network.

Arctel issues inter-city and international phone cards and is an agent of the STsS Sovintel Company. The Golden Telecom Company told Prime-TASS it provides Arctel with telephone access at the local level (i.e. a leased extensions for the Arctel card platform) and transmits the traffic from Arctel clients. Golden Telecom, in its turn, is an agent of Rostelecom long-distance communications carrier (RTKM).

Tsifrograd network of mobile device centers has over 1250 salons in 300 Russian cities. Tsifrograd offers to clients mobile and DECT-phones, photo-video cameras, MP3 and DVD players, as well as communication services. Network turnover totaled US$ 450 million in 2005.
